Also, to be active contributors to the Open Source community. Damon Petta - Founder Damon has more than a decade of expertise designing and maintaining enterprise UNIX systems. He has managed large UNIX installations and participated in global client-server UNIX rollouts, and relocations, supporting open source and corporate technologies. Most recently, Damon Petta was an Infrastructure Architect for Overture Services Inc. Damon lead design and implementations efforts to reduce costs in an international Solaris to Linux migration. Damon also developed an enterprise software deployment system for open source applications.

( Robert Johnson - Founder Rob, starting in his Cal Tech dorm room and using open-source software, built (with 1 partner) the e-commerce platform which operated the eToys.com website through its largest business rush, Christmas 1999, in which the company brought in $100M in sales in the 4th quarter. He went on to manage the .tv domain space, putting his skills in programming and systems design to further use. Now Rob works with Petta Technology, doing system architecture design and development for Open Source projects.

( Mark Chodos - Founder Mark got his start in computing while living on a kibbutz in Israel, where he implemented an on-line accounting system on a PDP 11/73 and a computerized irrigation control system for the kibbutz's 1000 acres of irrigated fields. He has over 15 years of industry experience on Unix platorms, starting with DEC Ultrix on a MicroVAX II. In the early 1990s, as Manager of Information Systems at NDC Systems, he moved the company from a proprietary software development platform to an Open Source solution using GNU Emacs, Gnu C compilers, and RCS source code control.
